Brief history of the UNI reconstructs the fundamental lines of the historical process of our university on the basis of the Works published or promoted by the UNI History Center. The first edition appeared in 2003 and the 2017 edition was enriched with some information tables from the last decades.
As its autor, Dr. José Ignacio López Soria, points, the purpose of this narrative is to enrich the knowledge about the first institution created in Perú for the training of engineers, within the context of the evolution of Peruvian society, with the intention to motivate the commitment to its permanent development.
