Sobre esta obra

This book has been designed with purpose of meeting the needs future English teachers have as analysts, users and pedagogues of the English language.Since many of the difficulties nonnative speakers of English face result from the interference of their mother tongue, it is necessary to establish a contrastive analysis of English and Spanish. This will help the future teacher be aware of these differences in order to improve his communication and also to help his manage the language. In addition, an explanation of the most common differences between British and American English has been included. Each chapter includes theoretical bases, examples and exercises, some of which have been recorded for the students to listen to and practice. Most of those exercises are given within a context and not in isolation besides being varied for avoiding monotony.Since many of the difficulties nonnative speakers of English face result from the interference of their mother tongue, it is necessary to establish a contrastive analysis of English and Spanish.
